Artist Kim Schoenstadt's Innovative Drawings of Local Spaces
Artist Kim Schoenstadt is a singular artist whose work is hard to classify yet visually striking and impossible to forget. Part drawing, part painting, part sculpture, even part architecture, her sprawling museum installations often wind from wall to ceiling to floor and onto other walls. They are site-specific interpretations and reimaginings of local space based on the past and present buildings which define that space. Today on Thinking Aloud, she and BYU Museum of Art curator Jeff Lambson talk with guest host Mark Burns about her ongoing MOA installation.
